        Program Facts

Municipalities and Counties may apply when an emergency project has occurred.  An Emergency Project is one that could normally qualify under the Public Facilities Grant but due to the immediate needs or emergency of the municipality or county it cannot wait for a new funding cycle under the Public Facilities Grant.   The Community Development Block Grant Program (Emergency Projects) provides for a maximum grant amount per project of $100,000.
