Airport Revitalization Revolving Loan Program

The Mississippi Airport Revitalization Revolving Loan Program is available to provide loans to airport authorities to assist with the location and expansion of businesses and for the improvement of airport facilities.  

Eligible projects must be directly related to the airport facility and include:
 
•    Equipment necessary for airport operation
•    Land improvements 
•    Drainage systems
•    Sewer systems 
•    Roads, bridges, rail spurs, and runways
•    Buildings
•    Water supply systems (storage, treatment, and distribution) 

Program Facts

Job creation and the improvements of airports is the goal of the Airport Revitalization Revolving Loan Program.   County and municipal airport authorities authorized to operate in Mississippi may apply for loans for the airport authority or on behalf of a new or expanded industry.

Loan Terms

Loans made under the Airport Revitalization Revolving Loan Program may be made for a maximum of ten years, in amounts not to exceed $750,000 per project.  The annual interest rate on these loans is 3%.
